Hunting is a typically traditional activity associated with the Vrlika region. The Svilaja Hunt Club manages two hunting grounds occupying a total area of 20,000 ha. There is an abundance of big and small game, such as chamois, roebuck, boar, hare, quail, partridge and mallard.

The organisation of the hunt is managed by the Svilaja Hunt Club.
